
In the Header & Footer section click Page Number. To add page numbers: Go to the Insert tab. Adding page numbers to longer documents makes them easier to navigate for readers. Select Save if you want to reuse your custom watermark in other documents. Headers and footers in Word provide a display area for page numbers in your document. This change is the custom watermark you added to the watermark gallery.
Pro Tip: After you save your document, an alert box will ask if you want to save changes to the Building Blocks file.
Your custom watermark should now appear on your chosen page. Then replace the footer with the following fields construction.
